Sunday Walk to Lose Weight !

” Men and women who walk briskly for more than 30 minutes a day were found to have lower BMIs and smaller waists than everyone else involved in the study. ‘Given the obesity epidemic, and the fact that a large proportion of people in the UK are inactive, recommending that people walk briskly more often is a cheap and easy policy option,’ said Dr Grace Lordon, who lead the research.”

I am 9 weeks post natal and am looking forward to slowly getting my fitness back. On this walk today I carried my baby in an ergobaby 360 sling which I find extremely comfortable and supportive. Initially it was quite difficult to work out how to secure the top strap of the sling but eventually i worked out that the best way to put the baby in on my own is to first do-up the back strap and loosen the side straps before putting it on, slide into it, then lift the baby in from the top. He is currently only 6kg so still fairly small.
